Call me crazy. I'm stitching this beautiful piece twice! Once on 25-count lugana, one thread over one full cross. Once on 18-count hand-dyed Aida cloth, two threads over one full cross. I am using the hand-dyed Aida (dusty rose) so that I wouldn't be stitching white on white for so much of this design. I'm liking how the 18-count and the 25-count are looking so much. But have to admit that the 25-count is finer and just about perfect. I hope someone else is stitching this design. It's very reward. Who gnu that a gray-scale design could be so exciting!
