I'm working on this right now, as 1x1, but some other substitutions... 25 count fabric, using regular DMC, and I think I might play with the color... but otherwise, I love this design, and so far, the different fabric doesn't seem to take away from the image. There are many designs on this site I'd "love to have", but the more I looked at them, the more I kept coming back to this piece. Only a few days/1000 stitches in, but I'm already really looking forward to how it'll come out. Might even make it as a gift for my Mom!
